Family Updates

UPDATES:
Noah is now crawling! I think it went, he was sitting up at 6 months, on hands and knees at 7 months, and crawling at 8. He is also pulling up on things to the standing position, dancing at music, instead of bobbing his head yes with his mouth open and closing, he shakes it sideways now and smiles, eating regular food in small portions.

Enoch's new words: Da da DEE (Papa D), De de deese (Mac and cheese), Bapa for mommy, Papa for Grandpa, First sentance "Dig Dig bye bye", He'll point to his belly and say "too" (he wants to be included) Loves to tell Noah "Doh!" for No. If he wants to watch Looney Tunes he brings you the remote and says "ooooooo" (We think because there is a coyote and road runner episode and the howling is the only way to relate it) we catch him singing to himself, He has been sick 3 times this month (?), and officially Potty trained before his second birthday! We just got his big boy underwear tonight-So exciting! Caleb I were standing outside when Enoch came out of the garage and yelled "DADDY! PAPA!" with his hands up motioning for us to come. I looked at Caleb and said "Aw man..does that mean I'm Papa?" haha. I think I am Bapa now though.

Weather wise, we have had severe weather here 3 times this month. The first one a tornado took out a tree and damaged our cars (Technically it totaled them-damage is more than car worth), Second one the hail was the size of softballs (we were driving only minutes from the bad part on our way home from Tulsa) AZDSFsz (Noah just typed that), and today we are again having bad storms and tornado's all around us. I think we dodged it for now.

I have been finally cooking! Going by a lady's blog called The Sweet Life. She has pictures and great details, just what I need for a beginner! Mexican pork bowls, Chicken tortilla pie, Harvest stuffed pork with orange marmolade glaze, Southwest chicken with corn and black bean succotash, and black bean and fresh veggie salad dip have been a success! But Caleb still wins for best cook in our family. He's so good! Especially at steaks.

The countdown starts for our BIG MOVE, coming up on the first of June. And Enoch turns two June 5th!

Here is our daily routine of going down the neighborhood to watch the diggers at work. Sometimes we take the bike and cart, and other times we take the stroller for exercise! The boys love this thing, and so do I! (Thanks Mama Luci!) Wish they had a mommy cart =)

Tornadoes

So we have officially been greeted with spring on Monday evening, when over 20 tornadoes hit Oklahoma. Right after mentioning that the sky looked funny and the air felt heavy, the tornado sirens went off. Caleb was working out, so it was just Mama Luci, me and the little boys. We watched the end of the storm come our way from the front door, with the orange sky underneath the cloudline. Then it decided to start lowering and twisting all around, and of course it was coming right down our street toward our house. So I grabbed the boys and ran to the laundry room. But hearing the garage door shake and rattle right on the other side of the door, I was afraid it was going to rip off, so we headed for the master closet. I heard Mama Luci yell from the other side of the house, "There's goes some swimming pools!" as she watched them fly by the door. She went to go close the doors, and saw the big tree on the side of the house fall. We could hear the howling of the wind from the closet, I was just hoping I didn't hear a train sound, like they say when the tornado is about to hit. We saw a crowd of neighbors in our yard after it passed, so we were able to talk with them and hear their stories. Roofs, shingles, chimney's, tree's, basketball goals, fences and powerlines were all damanged. Hail got the best of our cars. Baseball size balls broke through my passenger side window leaving glass all in the seat. Both of the windshields in our cars got hit a couple times which shattered, but didn't break them. So aggravating! Our neighbor told us he looked out and saw a big cloud of gray in our backyard when it was all happening. So crazy! We were just fortunate we just had funnel damage and not from it touching the ground, or it would of been alot worse.
