-Enoch will hear Noah talking or singing himself to sleep in his crib. And to himself he'll say (while shaking his head) "
awwww poor
noah.
sowy noah"
-Noah has been wanting to go "tee tee" in the potty now, just like big brother. So anytime anyone is using the restroom, he'll bust in and and yell "TEE TEE!" and then squat down and grunt. So now i put him on the seat and he goes with a big smile and yells "
YAAY!" when he's done. And then Enoch says with such an excited voice GASP! "
I'm so HAPPY you
teetee noah!
Gooo boy!" while patting his back
-Enoch has been playing lion
a lot lately. For our lion hunter game, he will tip toe around the
rooms with his gun (while I sit on the couch and play...that's the rules) and I'll say "ENOCH! I hear a ____ under the table!" and say an animal and he'll go shoot it. Sometimes he gets scared when I roar like
theres an actual Lion in the kitchen. So he'll run over to me on the couch, hand me the gun and say "no mommy do" When he gets brave again, he'll take off and say "shh, I hear pumping"
-When not hunting them, he plays
Simba from Lion King. And man does he stay in character for a long time. Growling, showing his teeth, purring, running on all fours. And Noah will yell "
YION!!"
-Enoch famous line lately "what do mommy?" every five seconds, to get updated. So
here's an example. "what do mommy?" "fixing dinner
enoch...." GASP: "fixing DINNER!!!?"
"what do mommy" "eating dinner
enoch...." Gasp:"eating DINNER mommy?!!!!" and so on =)
-Songs the boys love to sing: First it was Old McDonald had a farm, then Noah would yell "
EIEIO." The Twinkle little star and ABC song is their new favorite, being sung ALL day long. Noah sings along to the best he can, so sweet.
-Enoch asks
alot "
bellwe hurt mommy?" and rubs it for me "
pppoooor bellwe" (belly)
-Noah can make the sounds to about 20 animals as well as saying new words everyday. Today he said "let go" to Enoch for the first time. Others are, "bobble" bottle "
Neah" Enoch "Day Do" Play do "pee o" pillow...and so forth.
-Noah yells "
TACTOR!" as he is carrying his tractor book over to you....and through every page he'll look up at you and yell it again, to make sure you see it-so cute!
-Enoch says "hold me mommy"
alot. Getting into a clingy and "Look mommy!" stage
-Today I was sweeping and mopping the floor, so I told the boys to stay out of the kitchen. When I finished I said "okay its all clean!" and Enoch gasped and said "
awww tank you mommy! Tank you
toooe much!
aaaall tean" (thank you so much, all clean)
-Noah yells "
Moooommy.
MOOOOOMMY!"
everytime he wakes up. And Caleb just stated the other day, I wish he would say Daddy, since I go get him just as much. (winter time Caleb doesn't work=farmer) Yesterday morning he yelled mommy, and Daddy walked in to see Noah look around him and yell mommy even louder to see if I was coming. This morning....Caleb woke up to
noah yelling....."
mooommmy.
moooommy......DADDY!!!" He jumped out of bed to go get him.
-Notice
noah yells
alot?
haha enough said.
Its been snowing like crazy up here in Missouri....as well as the rest of Central America! We have had snow on the ground for a few weeks now and new storms come in to add on. We have
enjoyed taking the four wheeler out in it, we went sledding behind it with Mama Luci and Papa D, and Enoch went sledding down the big terraces in the pasture by himself! (pictures to come soon) He had such a big smile on his face when Daddy would go down to get him. We have had to pull
Calebs truck out with the tractor, the four wheeler and yes...the mini van came to the rescue. Time for new tires! We are down to 8 chickens...from 15, the cold sure is hard on them! =( We have cats under the house trying to survive and
Finney is just fine, loving roaming through the snow.
Enoch and I have been doing
a lot of crafts lately, since we can't get outdoors. Painting, coloring, cutting paper, stickers, colorful pipe cleaners, and stencils. But the rule is, we can only do it when Noah is napping or already down for bed (when he's awake it causes messes and screaming) So a lot of times through out the day I hear "mommy? Noah ready for night night now?" meaning he's ready to paint.
They like to run on the treadmill, which gets out
a lot of energy. Wrestling with Daddy,
sledding down their indoor slide, reading books and playing Play Do is some other fun things they do. And yes...running around with baskets and blankets on their head. We have been
ice-skating with the boys, and to
chik-
fila to play, and over to friends house.
I am now 4 months pregnant....around about....assuming we'll be due in the end of July! We are so excited for the new baby, and so are the boys. Caleb sure wants a little girl to snuggle with her Daddy! I haven't been to the doctor yet, still waiting for insurance to go through. We were all sick the whole time we were visiting in Oklahoma,
with Stomach virus's and
head colds. And we got back, I had morning sickness so bad I couldn't get off the couch. So 2 1/2 months of being sick is no fun! But I got out of my first trimester and feeling just fine now! I got our guest bathroom painted and decorated, and closets organized and
de-cluttered.
Caleb is sure enjoying his time off and all snow to come
along with it! He's been chopping wood for our fire place, feeding the animals, helping out Max across the street, playing piano, reading, taking the
four-wheeler out, fixing our frozen pipes, shooting his new boe and arrow "boe-herro" says Enoch, and helping out SO much around the house and with the boys. What am I going to do when he goes back to farming this Spring? We LOVE having him around!
Oh and I almost forgot! We had Thanksgiving here in Missouri, hosted right by us at my Grandma and Grandpas for the big dinner. And then at my Aunt and Uncles down the street for dessert and presents (we celebrate christmas with the Bender side of the family then) We had a great time and it was so nice to see everyone! We had a fun scavenger hunt around the farm, some things were hidden way out by the ponds so we had to take the fourwheelers. We also had a fun time hosting Christmas here with the Loafman Family! We had so much fun having everyone here, girls working on puzzles, watching the little cousins play, putting out fires...yes
fires lol, playing games, boys exploring outside, snowstorms, food and presents! It was so lonely and quiet when everyone left =( The boys didn't know how to play by themselves or with toys for a long time, being used to having people love on them, entertain and play with them. I had to re-introduce their playroom over and over haha.
